This album is themed around the gruesome events that happened during World War 1. Lyrical themes cover trench warfares, the fights on the italian front line, mental illness on the front, leaving behind loved ones, and much more.

The cover art is a soldier overlooking one of the most brutal lesser known fronts, the Italian front in the Dolomite Mountains.
